AiTech Space Systems Awards B&A Engineering Systems Inc. a Contract to develop cPCI based hardware board and FPGA implementation for ATK/SIU

B&A Engineering Systems Inc., a leader in Space and Avionics instrumentation design & development announced that it has been awarded a design and development contract to develop cPCI based hardware and FPGA implementation for ATK/Stage Interface Unit (SIU).

ATK/SIU is used in a multistage rocket motor system to receive power and commands from flight control avionics and to control the various ordnance and controls on a single motor stage. It also manages ground and flight data acquisition for the motor and passes this information either to the ground equipment or to the flight telemetry transmission.
