U.S. Air Force Awards B&A a Contract to develop HDL test benches to verify SX and AX ACTEL FPGAs

B&A Engineering Systems Inc., a leader in Space and Avionics instrumentation design & development announced that it has awarded a contract to develop HDL test benches to verify SX and AX ACTEL FPGAs used in Stage Interface Interface (SIU).

Products shall be integrated in a multistage rocket motor system.  The SIU is to receive power and commands from flight control avionics to control the various ordnance and controls on a single motor stage.  It also manages ground and flight data acquisition for the motor and passes this information to either ground equipment or to the flight telemetry transmission.
